BuilderMT WMS, Sales Simplicity, CG Visions, Punchlist Manager, Jet Reports, and Microsoft NAV Are All Implemented in One Fell Swoop
DENVER – June 5, 2017 – A group of the top home building software providers – BuilderMT WMS, Sales Simplicity, CG Visions, Punchlist Manager, and Western Computer – today announced that Van Metre Companies’ new homes division has implemented their integrated software solutions.
Van Metre Companies’ new home division is the 92nd largest home builder in the US, with 454 starts in 2016, and $341 million in revenue.
“We needed to consolidate our operations into one software platform, because we were exerting an enormous amount of manual labor to do the integration that our software should have been doing,” said Chase McNelis, Van Metre’s Production Manager & TSS Director of Operations.
“We were pouring untold hours into manipulating the takeoff to obtain accurate purchase orders, and then manually handing that information to our vendors to make sure the materials were trucked to the right lot at the right time,” McNelis said. “It was time for a modernizing of our software solutions.”

Picking the Right Package:
Van Metre Companies new homes division selected BuilderMT (a MiTek® company) for its workflow solution, Sales Simplicity (a MiTek® company) for its sales and CRM solution, Punchlist Manager for customer care, as well as Jet Reports and Microsoft NAV (implemented by Western Computer) for accounting. Avid Ratings, an additional integration partner, has long served Van Metre with Avid’s customer relationship management services.
“These solutions are very tightly integrated, and it’s obvious that a great deal of thought and work has gone into making these systems operate together,” McNelis added.
Now, when Van Metre Companies’ new homes division round trips data among these integrated software systems, the Company is simultaneously obtaining takeoffs from CG Visions Pipeline, and pulling pricing from BuilderMT’s WMS, as this data automatically appears in Microsoft NAV.
